Privacy
We fight surveillance. We'd be hypocrites to run a sign-up that tracks you. This page is the whole deal.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your name, email, town and ZIP, what you'd like to do, and an optional note. We also note which link brought you here (like a post or a flyer) so we know which outreach works. That's a short tag, not a tracker.
What we don't collect
No analytics, no ad pixels, no Facebook or Google trackers, and we set no cookies. The map is a picture built from public OpenStreetMap data; looking at it sends nothing anywhere.
To keep bots off the list, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is joining. It loads only once you start filling in the form, and it usually needs nothing from you. For that check Cloudflare sees technical details like your IP address and browser type, and says it doesn't use them to identify, profile or target anyone.
What we do with it
- We email you updates if you asked for them.
- If you want to start or help a chapter, or report cameras, we use your town and ZIP to connect you with people near you.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade your information. We never publish your email or name. We never hand the list to a party, a candidate or a campaign.
Where it's stored
Your sign-up passes through a small Cloudflare service that runs the bot check, then is stored in a Google Cloud Firestore database that the public can't read. Only the organizers can export it.
Get off the list
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To be removed entirely, reply to any email from us and we'll delete your entry.
